in classical times?

I wasn't 100% sure about this one, and since I didn't know it either I went ahead and looked it up. A "Motet" is a Latin term that describes "the movement of different voices against one another." If you don't know, a motet is basically a very vocal composition made up of several voices singing different parts.

OpenStudy (alexanderphantomhive):

it is motet
