OpenStudy (imnotgoodatmath):

Which line has no x-intercept? Graph shows four lines labeled a, b, c, and d. Lines b, c, and d have x-intercepts line a line b line c line d

OpenStudy (anonymous):

graph please :)

OpenStudy (imnotgoodatmath):

sorry, hold on

OpenStudy (imnotgoodatmath):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

line a, since it has only a y-intercept and doesnt pass through the x axis to be able to have an x-intercept

OpenStudy (triciaal):

the question states Lines b, c, and d have x-intercepts so the line with no x intercept must be a

OpenStudy (phi):

Do you understand that the x-axis is the horizontal line labeled x? the "x-intercept" is where a line meets this x-axis. there is only one line that looks like it never meets the x-axis (because it is parallel to the x-axis... and parallel lines do not meet)
