Have you ever been shunned? Introverted? Misfitted with society? The fictional short story, The Strangers That Came To Town by Ambrose Flack will fit you quiet well. This story follows Andy, brother Tom, his Father, Mother and those strange Duvitches that just moved in next door on Syringa Street in the recent past. Following a devious trich played on the Divitches by Andy and Tom, they must repay a debt that may just reveal who the Divitches are inside. Strangers, as it will be refereed to from here on out, is a very interesting story. The length is not off-putting, despite being able to host a long scene where Andy and Tom are punished of their bad deed to the Divitches. The story provides this feeling of mystery from the perspective of Andy, "Who are the Divitches, why are they like this?" Flack uses words such as solemn and faint to illustrate this mysterious, introverted family and their plight. The theme, without spoiling the end, gives the story, in my opinion, a theme of acceptance regardless of difference. The most interesting character, or should one say "characters", are the whole of the Divitches themselves. Their mysterious, quiet and introverted nature leads to a strong curiosity of theme that leads far to the end of the story. The story is perfect for the near 100 percent of all people who have at some point, felt as though they did not belong, but it after a new school or a new house, you'll feel for the Divitches. You'll even feel for Andy and Tom after regrettable trick they pull on the Divitches. Strangers will keep you captivated until the secret of the Divitiches is revealed and even then some.

1. "Have you ever been shunned? Introverted? Misfitted with society?" I really admire the use of vocabulary in this passage, it gives it a more deep meaning then just saying have you ever been disliked by someone? Where is says, "Following a devious trich played on the Divitches by Andy and Tom, they must repay a debt that may just reveal who the Divitches are inside." I can once again say that the word choices they used are exceptional in the visionary aspect, it makes me see their personalities through the words used. " Their mysterious, quiet and introverted nature leads to a strong curiosity of theme that leads far to the end of the story." I see the characters here very clearly, I can picture them almost snooping around town and discovering secrets, and I haven't read the book yet to get to know them. 2. The overall writing piece is about two boys named Andy and Tom who can relate to us as a whole in the sense that they don't always feel like they belong and they are tricked by (What I'm assuming) are the "bullies" in town. 3. What are two specific questions that you wish the author had answered about the topic? Question one: what have the Divitches done to get this poor reputation? Question two: I'm confused about who exactly is shunned, the Divitches who move in all mysterious or Andy and Tom after they pull a trick on them?
