3rd

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How is every single one the 3rd one.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I swerr if this is all wrong i'm gonn be so screwed.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

really? I didnt notice that.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Cana you just tell me if her answer is right or wrong? @mathstudent55

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Once again, this is a proportion problem. 24 ounces is to $3.60 as 18 ounces is to x \(\dfrac{24}{$3.60} = \dfrac{18}{x} \) x = $2.70 That means it's choice 2, not 3.

Thank you.

@Freelance1 The purpose of OS is to help you with your homework. The purpose of homework is to learn the material. Asking questions and only receiving a final answer will not help you do the homework or learn the material. In this case, the answer with no explanation you got was incorrect, so how much of a help can that be?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol I did 20 ounces instead of 24 I am sorry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@mathstudent55 I understand what you're saying. But I won't really be using this because this is from 2 grade levels beneath me and I just needed this online course to get into Highschoool.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I understand the concepts but I just don't have the time to work them out because it will take me some time and I have to be somewhere in a few mins.

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

@Melodysim I realize you are trying to help, and I can see you know the material. When @Freelance1 takes his math test, are you also going to be there giving him all the answers? Use your knowledge of math and smarts to help him learn math, not just to feed him every answer with no explanation.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well I thought he just needed answer and he would tell me if he needs explanation :((( sorry @mathstudent55
