Suppose the first term of a geometric sequence is multiplied by a nonzero constant, c. What happens to the following terms in the sequence? What happens to the sum of this geometric sequence? here's the deal... i didn't really got the question,now if the question wants to say that only the first term is multiplied not all with c the answer will be a.c + {sum of rest of the term using gp} as the common difference don't remain same for the first term. gp becomes from the next term onwards , and if the question wants to say that the first term as well as all the terms are multiplied by c the the ans is simple c{sum of all the terms of gp}
