I desperately need help with part 2 of a very difficult part two exam in alegebra. I haven't entered the exam yet, but the module primarily covered correlation and causation, standard deviation, two way frequency tables, and comparing data sets. Would anyone who is good at algebra be available to help me for like an hour ? I will give medals and be very grateful!!!!!!
I would love to try to help
Thank you so much you are a true life saver! I'm gonna enter the exam right now ...it's very hard i'm for warning you
ok ill try my best
The table below shows the number of students from different classes of two schools who participated in a debate: School A 24 18 2 22 19 21 20 23 1 School B 3 2 1 5 14 12 3 4 3 Part A: How can you use box plots to compare the median and interquartile range of the data? Write the minimum value, first quartile, median, third quartile, and interquartile range for the two sets of data. (5 points) Part B: Are the box plots symmetrical in shape? Justify your answer. (5 points)
Do you have geogebra? that helps greatly on this fyi
yes I do!
A) Box plots are laid out in a way that you can just look at it to find the median of the data by finding the center line and you can easily do the math to find the interquartile range by just looking at the numbers. School A: min value- 1 Q1- 10 Median- 20 Q3- 22.5 IQR- 12.5 School B: min value- 1 Q1- 2.5 Median- 3 Q3- 8.5 IQR- 6
B) both box plots are almost symmetrical in shape only being slightly skewed
ok I forgot about IQR that helps a lot!
No problem!!
thank you a million
No problem!! is that it? or do you need any more help
Imma go write this in now ...i might have a few more questions later ( i wont plagerize )
Ok i'll be here
how do I create a histogram on geogebra...I know how to solve this next problem but I need geogebra.......I know you enter your data in as a spreadsheet but I don't know how to enter the data in as a histogram for visual preference
