jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

192 cm^3 not just "cm"

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

cm^3 means "cubic centimeters"

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

which is a volume unit

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So I have to add ^3 and it will be right, do I add that when ever I am asked to find the volume??

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

yes for any volume unit in^3 = cubic inches ft^3 = cubic feet etc etc

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay thank you.

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

sometimes you may abbreviate it like this cubic feet = cu. ft. cubic inches = cu. in. etc etc
