If the length of each side of a cube is doubled, is the surface area doubled? Use an example to support your answer.

No. If your cube had the sides: 1. Then it would be l*w*h - > 1*1*1 =1. If you doubled the length to 2, then it would be 2*2*2=8. Doubling the sides multiplies the volume by 8.
