The coordinates R(1, -3), S(3, -1) T(5, -7) form a right triangle. true or false

@ganeshie8 @paki

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Any ideas

OpenStudy (paki):

confused with the coordinates....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

When I graphed it, it looked like it could be a right triangle but I just don't know for sure

OpenStudy (paki):

if you graphed it in a rite way, then it will be true of course....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Alright thanks man, math is a killer sometimes

OpenStudy (paki):

hahaa no... math is cool....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Haha im more of a history/ English person but I can see how math would be fun if u understood it

OpenStudy (paki):

same here... but math is cool too, if you know all it's basics...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah well i gtg work on more of this stuff, ty for helping me

OpenStudy (paki):

pleasure...

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

it is indeed a right triangle, you may use pythagoras theorem to prove it

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

find the lengths of sides : RS = ? ST = ? RT = ? then check : a^2+b^2 = c^2
