I don't understand it
do you know which one of the answers uses word play?
ne neather
Okay, so I know you want the answer BUTBUTBUTBUT I can't do that without making sure you know what each of these are.. Soooooo~ Personification is giving human qualities to none-human objects. (The wind whispered in my ear). Cliche is a phrase or opinion that is overused and betrays a lack of original thought. (Time will tell) Irony is the expression of one's meaning by using language that normally signifies the opposite, typically for humorous or emphatic effect. (Don't go overboard with the gratitude" He said ironically) And finally, A pun is a joke exploiting the different possible meanings of a word or the fact that there are words that sound alike but have different meanings. (Where does a bee sit? On it's beehind.) Based on this, which do you think is the answer?
personification doesn't use wordplay. irony doesn't use word play.
