B?
OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):
well yes!
OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):
Tell me what is happening?
OpenStudy (dannyrod2000):
i had a note written down that says "as x becomes a smaller negative number , F(x) becomes a large negative number.
OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):
right! in the case of this function that is true, but not for all functions
that since f gets closer and closer to some big number that we will never reach
we say that f(x) is heading towards negative infinity
if you consider the right side where x moves to 0 from the right
f(x) get lager and lager moving towards infinity in the positive direction
