is that perpendicular?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@bryanjonathanb

OpenStudy (anonymous):

perpendicular is when two lines are formed to make a right angle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@KlOwNlOvE No i dont think its perpendicular

OpenStudy (anonymous):

|dw:1407170076532:dw| real crappy drawing but you can't form right angles from that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@KlOwNlOvE yea i dont think it perpenducliar b/c on the photo its just saying find Y dont do nothing else

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the rhombus is perpendicular because two lines can form a right angle in that. Because it's perpendicular m will =90 so 90=6y-6 how would i get y by itself?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

to subtract 6 from 90 ? & then divide 84 by 6 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the 6 is negative so you would add it to 90 then divide

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@KlOwNlOvE lol i just got confused

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@KlOwNlOvE wait nevermind the answer is 16 , right ? i just wrote the problem out and did what you said

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol when you need to get y by itself you need to do the reciprocal to the other side of the equal signn so with 90=6y-6 you would add 6 because its being subtracted the divide by 6 because its being multiplied

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

alrighty thanks :) @KlOwNlOvE

you're welcome
