Two angles of a triangle have measures of 55° and 65°. Which of the following could not be a measure of an exterior angle of the triangle?
115o
120o
125o
130o
OpenStudy (anonymous):
I dont get this?? Like what I did was I added 55+65
and got 120....but then i dont get what the questions asking
OpenStudy (ikram002p):

so 130 would be the answer because when you add it to all of these angles it is higher then 180
OpenStudy (ikram002p):
Exterior Angles Theorm : An measure of an exterior angle of a triangle is equal to the sum of the measures of the two non-adjacent interior angles.
OpenStudy (ikram002p):
since you have 3 exterior angels ,
<1 =60+65=125
<2=60+55=115
<3=55+65=120
so you are correct its 130

thanks!

OpenStudy (ikram002p):
how did u end up with 12 cm ?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
because, I radius equaled 5 and I just plugged it in and did the rest.
I found that by using the circumference of a circle equation
OpenStudy (ikram002p):
volume of cylinder= area of the base × height
solve for height :)
OpenStudy (anonymous):
OpenStudy (anonymous):
hahah i used this....
