Troy is building a model sailboat to scale. The actual boat sail measures as follows:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Which set of model sail side lengths would be proportional to the actual sail?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Answer Choices: A. 3 in., 4 in., 5 in B. 3 in., 5 in., 6 in. C. 3 in., 4 in., 6 in. D. Not enough information

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

Hint* divide each side by 3 This will be a proportion of 1/3 the size

im confuse O_O

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah but how do u know which side is which?? it doesn't tell u

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

If you keep the sail in the same reference then the model sides will correlate with the original sides In this question it doesnt matter if it doesnt say what position the legs of the sail will be in, since we know the sail isn't moving...we just need the numbers

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok???? i don't get it but ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so do i just put D?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@MilenaSaeger can u give @johnweldon1993 a medal pwwease

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

If you believe it is D, then absolutely go ahead and put it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no im asking what u think sir
