To solve for the following proportion, you could use equivalent ratios, divide out the known ratio, or use cross products. Choose one of these methods to solve for t. Show your work and explain why you chose that method.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\frac{ 18 }{ 3 } = \frac{ 42 }{ t }\]

OpenStudy (taylorterminate):

"(18/5)=(4/t)=18t=20=t=20/18" i goz dis fom the internet

OpenStudy (taylorterminate):

also it can b 10/9 in simplest form

OpenStudy (nurali):

18/3=42/t Cross Multiply 18t=42*3 18t=126 t=126/18 t=7

Two students in your class, Tucker and Karly, are disputing a function. Tucker says that for the function, between x = -3 and x = 3, the average rate of change is 0. Karly says that for the function, between x = -3 and x = 3, the graph goes up through a turning point, and then back down. Explain how Tucker and Karly can both be correct, using complete sentences.

OpenStudy (camerondoherty):

lmao

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks Nurali

OpenStudy (nurali):

My Pleasure.

Can someone help asap?

OpenStudy (camerondoherty):

Well Heres something a bit simpler: \[\frac{ 18 }{ 3 }=6\] So then you divide \[48 \div 6\] And you get: 7

OpenStudy (camerondoherty):

sorry change the 48 to 42

OpenStudy (camerondoherty):

@Americas_Hero_

OpenStudy (camerondoherty):

And btw Nurali's Answer was copy/pasted so you might want to rewrite tht or your teacher will accuse you of plagerizing
