@ShadowLegendX
Do you know what prepositions are?
dewd a preposition is describing where something is in a matter of shorter words instead of being exact. so like next to or above would be prepostitions
so where in the sentence is it describing WHERE something might be?
D ?
yep :)
Yep!!!! You got it:)
@RyGuy so would this one be D ? Which words make up the prepositional phrase in this sentence? Between the dry rocks scurried what I think was a small green lizard. A. scurried what B. a small green lizard C. I think was D. Between the dry rocks
thats right :)
So would this be C or D? Which words make up the prepositional phrase in this sentence? The foghorn across the bay sounded especially loud this morning. A. sounded especially loud B. this morning C. The foghorn D. across the bay
well the foghorn or "the" are not places in a short tense. that is using it in a specific term. if it is capitalized as a place, it is a noun. if it is less specific, like "over there" then it would be a preposition. so does that help at all?
yup so D? right
thats right :)
