OpenStudy (anonymous):

basically just add the integers up and then slap a root 2 at the end:) so it is 4 + 7 + 3 which is 14 and then add a root 2 at the end which is 14 sqrt2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats supposed to be minus 3 square root of 2

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

4something+7something+3something=14something

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so then its 8* squareroot 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

does that make sense? if it doesnt pretend its an x and what would you do in that case? you would add up all the x's right? its basically the same thing just pretend root 2 is like an x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you, makes much more sense now

OpenStudy (midhun.madhu1987):

Since all these terms are like terms, we can directly add or subtract them... it is just like adding 4x+7x+3x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cool ! let me know if you have additional questions:)
