OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

An original rectangle has a length of 14 and a width of 12. What happens to the area if the new width is double the original width? Verify your answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

L =14 W = 12 Area with double width = 2W(L) = 2(12)(14) = 336

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It would still be the same. If you double the width , youll get 336 but then you have to 336/2 & you still get 168 like before .
