−one thirdx + 3 = x − 1 one thirdx − 3 = −x + 1 −one thirdx + 3 = −x − 1 one thirdx + 3 = x − 1

Okay, the graph shows us that the system of equations are equal to each other at x = 3 and y = -2. The y part is what the two equations will be equal two on their own. I don't know a shortcut to deciding one but mental maths will get you to the second set reasonably quickly: 3/3 - 3 = 1 - 3 = -2 and -3 + 1 = -2 Which means that they equal each other at x=3 and y=-2

OKay so how do I get the answer from that? @Garadon_Shagan

Can someone help me? @ganeshie8 @iPwnBunnies

Okay sorry I was away. The answer is the two equation which equal each other (where the graphs of the two meet) for the values which we calculated

So the one where ax +/- b = cx +/- d for the values you input
