What is the main idea of this paragraph?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Noise pollution is very different from air and water pollution in three ways. First, it is transient. This means that once the pollution stops, it no longer affects the environment. This is not the case for things that affect our air and water, such as chemicals. Second, noise pollution is different from air or water pollution because it is highly subjective. For example, the teenager who blasts his radio at 11:00 p.m. obviously doesn’t think of his noise as pollution. But the couple next door with a newborn baby would more than likely think of the noise as pollution. Finally, other kinds of pollution are measurable. But even though noise levels themselves can be measured, it is hard to tell how much noise is too much noise. Noise pollution is transient, not measurable, and subjective in nature. Noise pollution is transient, subjective, and measurable in nature. Noise pollution is not transient, subjective, and measurable in nature. Noise pollution is subjective, measurable, and not transient in nature.
