OpenStudy (anonymous):

help plz

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know it will be 10 but do you have answer choices?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no im soppose to write it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ya just a minute

OpenStudy (anonymous):

8/5 is more than one right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

when you divide anything by a fraction less than 1, you are actually inreasing its value

OpenStudy (anonymous):

got it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay, Since you know that the denominator and the numerator are both less than 1, you can figure that when dividing it will take more than 1 of the denominator to go into the numerator. Because when you divide anything with a value less than 1, you are increasing its value. Sorry it took me so long, I couldn't figure out how to word it it best. HOPE I HELPED! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that is, 5/8 divided by 1/16 , you are actually multiplying it by 16

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thx

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u understand? If not I will try to explain better

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no i understand its okauy

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok. Are you sure? Just remember one thing, when you divide anything by x, you are actually multiplying it by 1/x,.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And when you divide anything by 1/x, you are actually multiplying it by x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay can u go to my next question i already posted ity

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok can you tag me in that?
