@jgirl128 @PRAETORIAN.10 Ovum is viable for 24 hrs after the fertilization and it takes about 7-10 days for it to travel down the fallopian tube to uterus. So it's quite necessary for the fertilization to occur in the fallopian tube before the ovum loses its viability.
