100% sure. Use deduction. You can't always graph a solution and also graphing solution is sometimes not practical neither does it help when trying to check an answer. Taking the cube root of a solution almost 99% of the time is pretty useless when checking a solution. c) Think about it. example 5=2x+1 Solve for x x=2 Try substituting answer back into equation 5 = 2(2) +1 Is the answer 5? yes it is therefore x does = 2
