@Abhisar Would you mind teaching me how to do this? I'm a bit confused.
Use the Triangle Sum Property to find the measure of angle y. There are two overlapping triangles that share the angle marked x degrees. The other two angles of the first triangle measure fifty-eight degrees and y degrees. The other two angle measures for the second triangle are fifty-two degrees and eighty-four degrees. I get what you just explained to me, but this one is confusing me. How do I find y??
is it 78° ?
umm... I'm not sure D: I honestly do not know how to find Y.
I don't want the answer, @Abhisar I want to know how to find the answer my self, But I don't know how to find Y. Not even the first step.
:c
It's easy..
x+52+84=180 =>x=44°
How so? I'm sure it will be easy once I know how! ^-^
Ohhhhh I see.
Now, x+y+58=180 =>44+y+58=180 =>y=?
Its 72! :D
NO 78
Sorry
My bad
I read that wrong.
u speak pretty like me ;p
xD

Wait, what do I do if there is a number in front of the x? Like 4x??
do the same ! \(\color{blue}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @Abhisar 4x+52+84=180 =>4x=44° =>x=11° \(\color{blue}{\text{End of Quote}}\)
?? I'm confused.. What did you do with the 4?
4x+52+84=180 =>4x=44° =>x=\(\frac{44°}{4}\) =>x=11°
I must find the missing numbers, and I know I can do it by my self because you just taught me, but I'm confused by the 4x.
OOHh
ok I see. Can I open up a new question and may you check my work then?
go ahead !
Thank you!
