I can try.... lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Identify the factors of x^2 + 16y^2. (x + 4y)(x + 4y) (x + 4y)(x - 4y) Prime (x - 4y)(x - 4y)

OpenStudy (hanner_b_nanner):

Is this B? @JoannaBlackwelder

OpenStudy (joannablackwelder):

No, it would be if it were x^2 - 16y^2 though.

OpenStudy (joannablackwelder):

That is called the difference of squares. But in this case it is the sum of squares, which is prime.

OpenStudy (joannablackwelder):

You can check that by multiplying all of the answer choices together and see if any of them match the expression given.

OpenStudy (hanner_b_nanner):

ohh, gotcha! Lol it's been a while... :D

OpenStudy (hanner_b_nanner):

@BassCatcher15 it's A lol

OpenStudy (joannablackwelder):

No worries :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you guys SOOOOO much!!!

OpenStudy (joannablackwelder):

Sure thing!

OpenStudy (joannablackwelder):

Oh, and it is not A. It is C (Prime).
