Does anyone understand how to do this because i didn't learn this and i cant fail this test Find B union D. B: {-3, -1, 3, 4, 9, 11} D: {numbers divisible by 3 from 1 to 15} {3, 9} {-3, -1, 3, 4, 9, 11} { } {-3, -1, 3, 4, 6, 9, 11, 12, 15}

OpenStudy (anonymous):

in union you have to right all those numbers which are involved in both sets ...and remeber no number is repeated more then once...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

still confused

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so B: {-3, -1, 3, 4, 9, 11} D: {numbers divisible by 3 from 1 to 15}={3,6,9,12,15} now BUD={-3,-1,3,4,6,9,11,12,15}

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how did you get that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

first you get how i write D in this notation..??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

not really

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you have to take all thoose numbers which can be divide by 3..or in other way which are a factor of 3 from 1 to 15..so those numbers which can be divided by 3 from 1 to 15 are {3,6,9,12,15} oky get it..?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a little bit

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think i got it thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you help me with one more

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you got it fullly..????

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes but i need help with one more

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If W = {positive integers} and subset Z = {positive integers divisible by 5}, what is Z'? {1, 2, 3, 4, ...} { } {5, 10, 15, 20, ...} {1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, ...}

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think its the third one

OpenStudy (anonymous):
