Algebra Question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\frac{ \sqrt{18} }{ \sqrt{10} }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[3\div \sqrt{5}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\frac{ 3\sqrt{2} }{ \sqrt{10} }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if your check in your calculator it should give you the same answer, sqrt(18)/sqrt(10) = 1.341... 3*sqrt(2)/sqrt(10)= 1.341.. these are call surds.

or you can do what jk24 has done, \[\frac{ 3\sqrt{2} }{ \sqrt{2}\times \sqrt{5} }\] so you see \[\sqrt{2}\] cancel each other.

Yeah but you can't have a fraction in the denominator.
