@zepdrix @dan815
@Luigi0210
Do you know what they mean? I have a poem that does this and I need to know.
Title? @sammixboo
Invictus by William Enres Henley
Uuuh.. Any choices or no? Might boost my blonde mind up.
LOL....it's not a multiple choice question.
They do ask if its an allusion or a what's the damn purpose? and I'm here eating my brain out.
Smartest blonde I know ♥
Beyond this place of wrath and tears Looms but the ~~Horror~~ of the shade, And yet the menace of the years Finds and shall find me unafraid. I see what you are talking about. I just read the poem and saw a few. I am not sure though :c Lemme check, because I have a few options in mind. Might take a second or two <.< Don't count.
that's the 3rd stanza, but the word that is capitalized in in the first stanza, line 2.
@sammixboo Do you think it mean hell?
I think they mean Hell when they say "the Pit"
I was thinking that! Thanks anyway XD
Yes it is an allusion, because and allusion is a figure of speech that makes a reference to a place (the Pit - Hell), person, or an event
You understand :p If you need anymore help just tag me in a separate question, and I will be there asap.
