barely recognized you who are you now?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you know... i think my true passion is graphs now

OpenStudy (anonymous):

pick the one that opens down and has a vertex of \((-2,-3)\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

would it be B or..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that would be \[ y = -1(x + 2)^2 - 3 \] since the \(-1\) insures that it opens down and the \(+2\) means if \(x=-2\) you get \(-3\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah B i can see how these graphs would really capture your imagination btw no one but a moron write \[ y = \color{red}{-1}(x + 2)^2 - 3 \] on planet earth it is \[y=-(x+2)^2-3\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hahahaha of course
