QUESTION: What graphing calculator should I get for Calculus, Geometry, etc., so I can solve by hand and use the unit, too. I have very little experience. If any of you are at regular universities, what graphing calculators do your campuses suggest for the most involved work. From reading, I've seen TI's 84 Plus Silver, 89 Titanium, 200 Voyage, or Nspire CAS, and CASIO has similar choices. I want to be sure I choose one that relates well to college math courses and which I can find books or websites to help me learn it. (I took Calculus originally with a slide rule on my hip).
Well, a ti 84 plus SE is easy to use; but, it's not as capable as a Ti 89 Titanium. If you get used to it, a TI 89 should come more handy, though. Also, discount the NSpire series altogether; it's just colorful and rather pointless.
