In quadrant I A stands for All, meaning all of the sins, cos, and tans are positive In quadrant II S stands for Sin, Meaning all but Sin becomes positive, the rest like cos and tan become negative In quadrant III T stands for Tan, Meaning all but Tan becomes positive.. In quadrant IV C stands for Cos, Meaning all but Cos is positive

Now we know that sin is less then 0 meaning it is negative and Cos is greater than 0 meaning it is a positive

2) cotangent > 0 co-secant > 0 Just relax about the co's and just know that cotangent is just one over tan and co secant is one over sin Now with that said, we know Tan is greater than 0 meaning it's positive, and Sin is also likewise... We don't need to worry about Cos because in what quadrant does Tan and Sin both are positive?
