OpenStudy (anonymous):

No, look at this one. 2 5/7 it's a proper fraction, that means it's also capable of being in improper fraction right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A proper fraction is a fraction with the smallest number on top and the larger number at the bottom. A mixed number is something like this: 2 1/2 So, the first one is already simplified to the max, so is the second one. And the last one is a properfraction

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So the third one is the only false statement.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks! Could you help with more?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sure

Which shows 63/36 as a mixed number in simplest form? 21/12 1 3/4 7/9 1 27/36

@K-K-K-Kiaa

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, how many times does 63 go into 36? Basically divide 63 by 36. It goes into 36 once with a remaining 27. So it's be 1 27/36 but simplified it's 1.75 or 1 3/4

I swear.... your a lifesaver
