Hey again! Another Genetics problem: The DNA of a mutant virus has a length of 15 µm instead of 17 µm. How many base pairs are missing from the mutant? How I think: 1) Firstly count how many base pairs are in non-mutant organism 2)Then got the answer how many base pairs are in mutant organism 3)Number of base pairs of non-mutant MINUS number of base pair of mutant organism=how many base pairs are missing. Am I right? How I would count? number of base pairs=length of genome/base pair lenght (0.34x10^-9nm). Is it correct?

sorry - it is 0.34nm or 0.34x10^-9 m: } I already found out the answer, but thanks anyways. All I have to do is 17µm-15µm=2µm which is 2x10^-6 m then 2x10^-6/0.34^10-9 ~ 5.88x10^3
