Your name sucks bra
Anyways, lines of latitude and longitude are based on the Prime Meridian and the Equator on Earth. The equator, as you know, I hope, goes around the Earth horizontally, where the Prime Meridian is vertically. They cannot be measured in temperature obviously, and whether you measure in miles or kilometers is going to be based on which system of units you are using. In Europe and most of the World, they use the Metric System, or S.I. (La Systemme International), (Kilometers), and here in America, we use the Brittish system of units, (Miles/Pounds, etc.). If you read what I have written carefully, I have given you your answer.
