slope-intercept formula\[y=mx+b\]b is the y-intercept

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the domain will not be affected once b=0...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, @Orion1213 I know. But Do I just insert 0 into the b's place?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yup... if it really requires that b=0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Omg. I do, don't I. Wow, well it's like 2am for me, so my brain is a little, wack. Haha

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I feel so dumb for stressing this much about it. I just want good notes Haha.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

as per your posting, b=0...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[y=\frac{1}{4}x\]where b=0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if x=4, y=1... that keeps range more than 0... if x=0, y=0... thus improving the domain to include 0, to maintain range y greater than or equal to 0...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you.

yw... :-)
