Two of your friends, Matt and Karen, both run to you to settle a dispute. They were working on a math problem, and got different answers. Wisely, you decide to look at their work to see if you can spot the source of confusion.Explain to Matt and Karen who, if either, is correct, and identify errors that you find. Provide the correct manner to fix those solutions, and identify the corr
Do you know \(\sf \color{red}{P.E.M.D.A.S}\)?
Yes :)
It's just so confusing because Its so many steps
Yes. All you need to do is follow PEMDAS and you will see whether they are right or wrong.
ok will you wait while i do that @ abbot
@abb0t
the answer is negative 4 @abb0t
can anyone tell me if that is correct??
Correct!
ok so then who did it right??
I mean where are the errors in the problem
both did it wrong, they were confused, you told them how to do it right xD
xD so true my god math is so hypothetical
@math&ing001 can you tell me where each of them went wrong because i got the answer I just can't figure out where they r wrong
Matt went wrong in the step before the last (he used addition before division). Karen went wrong on the square (-2)^2=-4
