Please help, I dont understand! In the equation (a)-(d), the solution x to the equation depends on the constant a. Assuming a is positive, what is the effect on increasing a on the solution? Does it increase, decrease, or remain unchanged? Give a reason for your answer that can be understood without solving the equation. a. x-a=0 b. ax=1 c. ax=a d. x/a =1

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

a lets try replacing a by a number say 2: so x - 2 = 0 if we increase a to 3 what effect would that have on the value of x?
