Which of the following elements of literature is used for characterization? Select one: a. Location b. Social status c. Action d. All of the above

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I would guess A but I'm not entirely sure..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thank you!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no problem(:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think its b i wouldn't think location would help characterization

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I would definitely say B.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

social status seems kind of a weird answer. like how can you define someone by their social staus? their social status isn't a real thing like its not an actual status were location is real.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You're not defining them by it, it's just part of their character... Location isn't part of a character.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but how is location going to characterize them? you cant

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but the thing is people act differently when theyre from different places. like people from canada act different from people in russia

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I just don't understand how you're saying social status isn't a real thing. It's a real thing that helps add to the character.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well I was just trying to help so you guys can pick whatever you want I was just giving my opinion.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how do we know that means where they are from and not where they are like the setting

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm not trying to be rude, I'm trying to help this person have the correct answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well you could've said it nicer, but I was also trying to help and it was just my opinion okay. bye good luck chantz.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Anyway, I looked at elements of characterization online and social status is definitely there, but it also lists location (because this can even have a hand in social status) and action, so I would pick all of the above, honestly.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i did choose all of the above

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok. :)
