That'll help. Laters.

Move the decimal over, counting each place moved, until the decimal is between the first and second numbers (that aren't zero). It helps to draw the decimal bouncing positions, so you can count the bounces. If you are taking a small decimal number into scientific notation, it is raised to a NEGATIVE exponent (move decimal right). If you are taking a giant number down into sci notation, it is to a POSITIVE exponent (move decimal left) i.e.: 0.000435 is the same as 4.35x10^-4 (it moves right 4 places) Or the other way, taking a big number down into scientific notation: 5624000 means 5.624x10^6. It is positive 6 because the number is big, going to smaller notation. Hope I helped, let me know if you need more help

Btw, your answer would be 1.54x10^-10. Remember it is negative because it is a tiny decimal so it moves left on the number line, negative direction.
