So we went to the fair today and at the end my teacher asked us: there are 180 different vegetables. how many 4 toppings pizzas can you make using each a combination only once but you can use the same vegetable on different pizzas? ie. (tomato, onion, bell pepper, squash) first pizza, (zucchini, onion, bell pepper, squash) second pizza. Please help. Thanks.

OpenStudy (fateal):

is it like 180 * 4?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if you use each vegetable only once, you are looking at 45 pizzas (180/4) now you can make the same with all vegetables using the same vegetable in more then one pizza but now in the same combination.

OpenStudy (fateal):

but i think that you should multiply :S idk sorry havnt been taking math for 2 years x3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hummm.... i was thinking like: 180/4 = 45 * 180 vegetables combinations but now so sure

OpenStudy (fateal):

will i think that you should multy to get a greater numebr

OpenStudy (anonymous):

using each vegetable only once you can make 45 pizzas in a single combination. now, get the 45 pizzas and multiply by the number of vegetables to get the total. Thanks for trying anyways!

OpenStudy (fateal):

hmmmm, ok then :) and np ^^ im always here to help i guess that ima stop doing math hw O.o i suck x.x lel
