would it be NaCl because of the salt in it being able to dissolve better making the temperature vapor pressure decrease?

the molecular weight makes the difference...... The reason that the salt solution has a lower freezing point than the sugar solution is that there are more particles in 10 grams of sodium chloride than in 10 grams of calcium chloride .

actually both are salts here so you need to go by molecular wt.....higher the wtless it will depress the freezing pt
