OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It keeps saying my answer is incorrect and tells me to try again :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No, it's a program called Aleks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got 1% after redoing it idk tho i dont want to give you the wrong answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah I don't know either. Because I tried working it out and got 1.3% and it said I'm wrong. So I googled the question to see what others were getting and they all said it was 1.3% too. And then you told me 1.3% and so I tried it again and it said it was still wrong. I don't know why it won't accept that. And then I tired 1% and it says that I need to have a tenth place.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's just a practice thing but I still need to learn how to do this right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay I just found a button that says explain so I clicked that and it gives me a discription and says the answer is 1.1%

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It says: We first find how much the price increased from yesterday. Amount of increase: $9.73 - $9.62=$0.11 To find the rate of increase, we divide the amount of increase by yesterday's price. Rate of increase:$0.11/$9.62=0.0114 We convert this rate to a percentage by multiplying it by 100. Percentage increase: (100*0.0114)%=1.14% Rounding to the nearest tenth of a percent, we get 1.1%

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohh nice one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

haha yeah :p I think I just calculated it wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you for your help :)
