the voting rights acts of 1869, 1920, and 1971 expand the "Blessings of Liberty" to more of the United States' population by giving them the freedom of speech. by enabling the populace to have a degree of parity meant that they felt more content in that their government had their best interests at heart. if you think about america, one of the first things you think of is the statue of liberty or the statue of the soldiers raising the flag or some other depiction of americans showing their liberty. these voting rights showed and still show that america is a free nation.
