OpenStudy (darkbluechocobo):

would it be d?

OpenStudy (zale101):

f(x) = x + 1 and g(x) = 2x2 − x − 3, you are asked to subtract f(x) from g(x) ( x + 1)-(2x^2 − x − 3) combine like terms the two x's are added together, you get 2x 2x+1-2x^2+3 3 added to 1 = 4 2x+4-2x^2 move -2x^2 from left to right, in the order of polynomials -2x^2+2x+4

OpenStudy (zale101):

ugh, those symbols are back again -.-

OpenStudy (darkbluechocobo):

Ok that makes sense :p now i can do the rest ahah
