sorry then i mean 3 @Thugchick14
OpenStudy (anonymous):
lol ok
OpenStudy (princeharryyy):
hehe :p @Thugchick14 let's start ...
OpenStudy (princeharryyy):
as its the circular mirror .... the base as sown in the figure must be a square ...shouldn't it be @Thugchick14
OpenStudy (princeharryyy):
so the length of the square would be 2 times the radius of circle ...
than it means area of the base would be equal to A = length*breadth .
for a square length = breadth so, A = 2r*2r = 4r^2 @Thugchick14

alright i get that
OpenStudy (princeharryyy):
for part b put in r =4in
OpenStudy (princeharryyy):
area = 4 *4*4 = 64 sq inches @Thugchick14
OpenStudy (princeharryyy):
for the next part area is given = 196 sq inches so,
4*r*r = 196 => r^2 = 49 or r = 7 so diameter = 2r , so ans =2*7 =14 @Thugchick14
OpenStudy (anonymous):
got it ^.^

do u know what simple intrest means @Thugchick14
OpenStudy (anonymous):
isn't it like how much is paid for the use of money? like percent or amount?
OpenStudy (princeharryyy):
see if u purchase something from the vendor ... lets for $ 10 annualy and he says if u r not able to pay it in a year than he will charge you 1 percent of the money... then u will have to pay him $10 + 1% of $10 = $11 @Thugchick14
