38. From reading the article, the reader can infer that Panama and its region will (F) lose its importance to shipping because of new technology. (G) be the focus for other nations interested in improving their economies. (H) continue to improve and develop canals that are so important to shipping. (I) sell the Panama Canal to the private group that can invest the large amounts of money needed for improvements.

OpenStudy (kobeni-chan):

This is something where we'd have to read the article to know. The article would use certain words or implications to hint at what the answer would be

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The answer is H

OpenStudy (ericanoel912):

I agree @kobeni-chan we can't help you if we haven't read the article :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I searched online and I saw the article by searching the questions. Like I said, The answer is H. :) Since the articles mentions how much money Panama has spent improving the canal, (H) is the only idea that fi ts the details in the article. There is no evidence in the article to support (F) or (G). The article never mentions anything about selling the Panama Canal, so (I) is incorrect.

can you help me with another ?
