Create a paraphrase of the following sentence from “The Cold Equations”: She stopped occasionally, as though trying to find the right words to tell them what she wanted them to know, then the pencil would resume its whispering to the paper.

Create a paraphrase of the following sentence from “The Cold Equations”: Faint and ineffably poignant and tender, the last words came from the cold metal of the communicator: "Good-bye, little sister—"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i suck at these sorry bro

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The communicator tenderly communicated the last words:"Good-bye, little sister." @Hotchellerae21 @Here_to_Help15 is this right? lol i need help on this too

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i am better at writing not revising and crap

OpenStudy (here_to_help15):

A paraphrase is... *your own rendition of essential information and ideas expressed by someone else, presented in a new form. *one legitimate way (when accompanied by accurate documentation) to borrow from a source. *a more detailed restatement than a summary, which focuses concisely on a single main idea.

OpenStudy (here_to_help15):

Looking up some of the words in the thesaurus should help. :) I can write the paraphrase if nothing else, but I wanted you to see what you are capable of doing. :)

OpenStudy (here_to_help15):

Faint- not seen or understood clearly ineffably- beyond the power to describe poignant- having the power to affect the feelings or sympathies

OpenStudy (here_to_help15):

So from that you can take the definitions and sum them up..... Basically, The last words that came from the communicator were not understood clearly and having beyond the power to describe of effecting feelings.

OpenStudy (here_to_help15):

@jose12345

OpenStudy (here_to_help15):
