A world-renowned health clinic with a focus on medical care, research, and education offers several health articles on its website. One of these articles is about weight-loss basics. The article states that weight loss comes down to watching calories. Fad diets do not work. To lose weight you most burn more calories than you take in, which you can do by reducing extra calories from food and by burning calories through exercise. The article byline is “Clinic Staff.” The Clinic Staff editors are experienced clinicians and educators who have broad knowledge of many areas of medicine and disease management. The specialty editors are leaders in their particular area of medicine—for example, asthma, cancer, and heart disease. The article about weight loss was written one year ago, and the date is listed at the bottom of the article. The online article’s sidebars offer links to expert answers, additional articles, respected health organizations, food tracker tools, and multimedia files with videos about nutrition.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well knowing that the definition of credibility is "The quality of being trusted and believed in" So lets say for 2. You have additional recourses, and i'm assuming they mean like ( correct me if i'm wrong) Books, websites etc. So what they mean is Can that book or website be trusted? Knowing how to find if something is credibile (Checking the date, looking up reviews etc.. ) It should be pretty straight forward how to define the aspect. Well at least for number 2.I don't think I worded that well....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so how would you word it out?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i need ehlp with 1,2 & 3. i forgot to add 1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Additional recourses like books and encyclopedias, can be trusted.Lets take for example books, books have been written, proof read, and then published, the fact that books are proofread and looked over shows how books are credible. Again sorry if it sounds bad. I suggest, making it sound like your own And okay c:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how about articles?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@XoXNadiaXoX you woreded right i just have trouble with this type of stuf do you like my sentence?? the additional resources is articles and websites

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A source, author, or creator would be credible because , if either of those were well known, and had a good reputation for being credible in the articles, they could be trusted.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

who would be the author/source/creator?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it clinical staff?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@XoXNadiaXoX

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh you have to be specific?

OpenStudy (anonymous):
