There's a question in my homework that is asking for the 40th percentile, does that mean 40%? (We're studying Standard Deviation/The Normal Model)

If you fail this course, you may be in the 40th percentile. That's everyone that got a 40% or lower. Of course, if you fail this course you will definitely be in the 90th percentile.
