what is the amino acid sequence of a rhesus monkey

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is this supposed to be a serious question? there is no such thing as an amino acid sequence of an organism. not even a cell. proteins are made of amino acids.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes actually it is

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then I gave you the answer. organisms are made up of cells. proteins are part of cells. proteins are made out of amino acids. proteins have amino acid sequences. cells/organisms don't. questions?

OpenStudy (abb0t):

He's right. Proteins are made up of a copious amount of amino acids, which can be found both inside and outside of the cell. You need to specify what you're talking about here, i relevance to the organism being discussed. Perhaps you mean, amino acid sequence of some protein?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

all i was doing was copying the question from my book so i did not understand that is why i asked but whatever :)

OpenStudy (abb0t):

Maybe you meant genome sequence?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no it said " amino sequences but whateve

Okay, you're having problems on a whole different level. You don't know which question to ask. Let me tell you the following: This site is not an answering machine. There's real people on the other end of the table that will try to solve your problem - WITH you, NOT FOR you. It is a process that we try to engage in (at least, I always hope that the answerers do it). If you are having basic troubles, just post your basic troubles! There is no shame in a question like "I don't understand a question that's inside the book. Please help!" In fact, I am much more happy to work out this kind of problem, since I know it really is your problem! If instead, you just copy-paste the question from the book, then how am I supposed to know what your problem is!? Do you have an answer that you want to check with me? Do you want to elaborate on stuff? Or is it that you don't understand it at all? Worst case: I never figure it out. You are unsatisfied, I sacrifice a lot of my precious time for nothing. We both lose. Now, I am starting to get what your real problem is. For future questions, please tell that first!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Now, to conquer your problem: Please fill me in. What is the context in the book? You know, the stuff around the question. Maybe surrounding questions, maybe a text that belongs to the question? Books aren't always good. Just sayin'...
